Got this idea from Dawn DOstamping on YouTube, when she showed a video on sponging around one of her gorgeous cards. I found this photo I printed off awhile ago, and thought it would look good using this technique.
Stamp sets - Helping me grow, Mixed borders
Card stock - 12 X 12 tangerine Tango, always artichoke, very vanilla
Ink - dapper denim, tangerine tango, and alway artichoke
Accessories - designer series paper scrap for flag on the upper left, rhinestones, Su stapler, stamp and write marker always artichoke and dapper denim, retired sprinter.
When I do scrap layouts, I always cut out the backing, so you can use the card stock to mat your photos, and also it doesn't make your albums so heavy.
Hope I have inspired you a little to have a go yourself.

Just had my first play with these wonderful sets. Couldn't wait to get my hands on this alphabet set, both Stamps and Framelits. They are awesome. This simple card is for my nephew, who is a St Kilda AFL supporter and turning 11. Happy Birthday Brady, have a great day Mate.
Card front - Basic Black base, Real Real mat and whisper White embossed with the new SPARKLE. Embossing folder.
Then stamped Brady with the new LETTERS FOR YOU stamp set in memento black. Cut out the letters with the new LARGE LETTERS FRAMELITS.
Stamped happy birthday in Real Red and matted it with Real Red and flagged it. Added ribbon and stapled on.
Inside card - stamped with memento black from the NUMBERS FOR YOU stamp set the sentiment and number 11, then added a splash of Real Red across the number.
Hope you like it, I love it.

Just had an amazing morning with 25 wonderful loyal ladies. I would like to thank each and everyone of you, for your continued support. I couldn't do this without you. We enjoyed games, lucky prize winners to many to name 14 of them. Lucky door prize winner Myra Fisher who will enjoy the new Confetti Celebration stamp set. Everyone who ordered received a washi tape, with a thank you tag. We all enjoyed a scrumptious morning tea, and thank you to those who helped me out with the goodies. Greatly appreciated.
